Switchback Brewing Co. claimed platinum and bronze awards at the 2023 Craft Brewers Conference. The brewery took home a bronze award in the 2023 World Beer Cup®, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding brewers and their beers. Awards were given in 103 beer-style categories during the World Beer Cup award ceremony on May 10, 2023, at the Music City Center in Nashville.

Switchback received a bronze award in the Historical beer style category for Katie’s Love Poem, a light and lofty Grodziskie, Polish wheat beer, with a classic touch of smoke. The award-winning beer is part of the Flynn on Fire Smoked Beer Initiative that explores the endless possibilities of smoked malt. Brewmaster and co-founder, Bill Cherry started the Flynn on Fire Smoked Beer Series in 2017 and it now consists of eleven smoked beers.

Platinum award went to Switchback's DIPA Cat series at the 2023 Craft Beer Marketing Awards, which gives recognition to the best of the best in the marketing realm of the brewing industry.
