Winter Naturalist Series - Snowshoe

Join a Park Naturalist on a guided snowshoe hike or cross-country ski in the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park this winter! All levels are welcome for both snow sports to explore the trails and discover winter wonders in nature. Pre-registration required. Wednesdays 10am-12:30pm Dates alternate between skiing and snowshoeing. Snowshoe Events begin at the Park Forest Center (no day pass required). Ski Events begin at the Prosper Road Trailhead (day pass from the Woodstock Nordic Center required). Wednesday, January 8th - Snowshoe Wednesday, January 15th -Ski Wednesday, January 22nd -Snowshoe Wednesday, January 29th -Ski Wednesday, February 5th - Snowshoe Wednesday, February 12th - Ski Wednesday, February 19th -Snowshoe Wednesday, February 26th -Ski Cost: Admission is free. Equipment: Use your own or plan ahead for rentals. There are limited snowshoes available to borrow from the National Park. Snowshoe and ski rentals are available at the Woodstock Nordic Center. Please wear proper winter attire (boots, warm clothing, gloves).
